There are so many surveillance system on the market which makes it hard for a first time buyer to know what to look for in a home security system. But I’ve been testing quite a few cameras over the years from Zosi and in my opinion they have always been of good quality.
However keep in mind this is a budget system so there will be some compromises when it comes to quality compared to more expensive surveillance system. Anyway this kit comes with eight 8MP/4K POE IP turret cameras and a 8 channel 4K NVR with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive.
It’s not a massive amount of storage if you record 24/7 in 4K using 8 cameras but at least it should last for a few days before it automatically start to overwrite old recordings.
The cameras have built-in spotlights which can be used as a alarm together with a siren when motion is detected. They can also be used to record in ful color even at night. And since they have both a speaker and a microphone you can talk and listen through the cameras.
You can also connect to the cameras using the Zosi smart APP for remote viewing and to receive push notifications when motion is detected, which you can then view directly on your phone in the APP from playbacks even when you are away from home.
According to the ratings on Amazon this security camera system has mostly positive feedback and overall people seems to be happy with it.
