There are sitiuations when a hidden spy camera is prefered compared to a more traditional surveillance camera. Whatever the reason might be, you want a camera you can place quickly and can start record immediately without you have to do a lot of tweaking.

That’s exactly what this USB charger with built-in spy camera does. All you have to do is plug it into a socket and it starts recording. No need to download apps and set up WiFi and stuff.

And you would never suspect it of being a spy camera either since it looks and feels just like any other standard smartphone charger and it will actually charge your phone as well. Not as fast as your original one but still.

It records in 1080p and this model we have doesn’t have WiFi so you will need to have an SD card (which is not included) installed.

It supports up to 32GB which should be around 8-9 hours of recordings. When the SD card is full it will start to overwrite the earliest recordings which means even though the memory is full it won’t stop recording.

To access the SD card slot you open up the front of the charger. Here you can also choose between continuous recording or if you want motion detection.

As you can see in the picture, there is a switch,  L is for recording mode and M is for motion detection. The reset button is inside the hole above the switch so you will need a small object to insert here if you need to reset the camera.

To access your recordings you can connect the spy camera to your PC with the included USB cable.

This is a great inexpensive spy camera that is really hard to detect since there is nothing giving it away more than the tiny lens which you won’t see unless you are actually looking for it. There are no lights or sound going on when the camera is recording. Just remember it does not have night vision so it needs to have some kind of light source to work.
