The included hard drive is 4TB so it will last for a some days if all 8 cameras records 24/7 at the highest image quality. You can also upgrade with another 6TB storage if you want. It will automatically delete old recordings when the hard drive is full.

And this system is as simple as it gets when it comes to installation. This is a POE (Power Over Ethernet) system which means each camera only needs one Network cable for both data and power. The image quality of Reolinks 4K cameras are really good and you can easily identify someone 15 meters from the camera.

For night vision it uses 18 Infrared lights with a distance up to 100ft or 30 meters. These cameras can only record audio they don’t have a speaker so you can talk through the camera or a alarm siren when motion is detected.

They also support something called smart detection which means the cameras can based on the shape of the object tell if its a person or vehicle which helps reduce false alarms.

You can also use the Reolink app for remote access and watch live view or playbacks and get push notifications when motion is detected.

So if you are looking for an affordable security system for your home or business then this is a really good deal. Maybe add a PTZ camera as well.
