Mini Body Camera C181 1080p Spy Camera Review

This is a review of the C181 1080p Spy Camera/Mini Body Camera. The camera comes in a nice black glossy finish. And it has a front clip so you can easily put it in your shirt pocket and use it as a spy camera since most of the camera will stay hidden.

It also comes with a lanyard strap so you can wear it around your neck. The camera records in 1080p at 30fps and supports up to 64GB microSD card. To charge the built-in battery you simply connect the camera USB to your computer and it will start charging this is also how you access your recordings, it basically works just like any USB memory.

It takes around 2 hours to fully charge the battery and according to the manual, the battery life should last between 2.5 and 4 hours. And when I tested it the battery lasted for about 3 hours so that’s probably what you can expect to get out of it. The camera also uses loop recording which means it will override old recordings when the SD card is full.

It comes in a nice box and inside it you will find a lanyard, the camera, lens cloth, and a simple guide on how to use the camera.

This camera is very easy to use and understand. To insert the micoSD card you need to remove the USB cap and then just slide it in with the chip pointing downwards.

On the side of the camera, you have 3 different modes, off mode, recording mode, and then audio mode so you can also use this camera as a voice recorder. To start recording you just put it in record mode, then click one time on top and you will see the light start blinking and that means it’s recording, after a few seconds the light will turn off. To stop recording you just click on top again.

To change the date and time you need to connect the camera to your computer and then click on the file called settime.txt and from here you can set the date and time. After you are done don’t forget to click save. Now the date and time should be displayed correctly.
