The reason I decided to buy and make a video about this camera is that it is a top-selling security camera in its category on Aliexpress. I paid 32 dollars with free shipping for it which I think is a good price for this camera. Overall it performed well in my tests and it comes with some nice features as well.

One of the main features of this camera is a loud siren which will go off when motion is detected, of course, you can turn this off if you don’t want to use it. It has 2 way audio and the speaker is pretty decent and I didn’t have any problem hearing it outdoors.

The camera uses an APP called Yoosee which is actually a good App compared to some other ones I’ve tried. You will get push notifications to your smartphone when motion is detected and you can set up email alerts as well if you want to use that.

What you can’t do is use a cloud service since all is recorded to the SD card which you can access in the App and watch playback.

It supports ONVIF so you can use this camera with any third-party software that supports ONVIF. The camera is also IP66 rated and has a working temperature between -20 and 50 degrees Celsius. The camera has an IR-cut filter and a night vision distance of up to 30m according to the seller.

However, this is the first camera I’ve tested that didn’t turn on night vision automatically because the area was too bright. And you can’t manually turn night vision on either since it’s controlled by the camera’s hardware.

What we get in the box except for the camera is a User Manual, a Thank You Card, an Ethernet cable, a Power adapter, Antenna, Screws, and a Hex key.

The camera looks nice and feels like it is well-built. I do have to say though that I’m not a big fan of the name Hiseeu, to be honest, I’m not sure what it is but it just doesn’t sound serious.

Anyway, on the cable you will find a power port, a network port, and a reset button. The camera supports up to 64 GB SD card and to access it we need to open up this cover. Be careful when you remove it since the speaker is attached to the back of it. And when putting it back make sure the sealing is in the right position.

It was really easy to connect to the camera and all you have to do after you have downloaded and installed the App Yoosee to your smart device is to register a new account.

Then power on the camera and wait until you hear the camera speak which means the camera is ready, click on the +icon to add a new device and then select “fast networking” Click on the “heard the sound of du du”” now select your WiFi and add your password and then click next, here you should see the camera, click on it and then wait for it to connect.

Might take a minute or so. Now when we are connected we can add a name for the camera, you don’t have to choose what area. And that’s it. Now the camera should be ready to use.

If you don’t hear the voice when powering on the camera, hold the reset button for a few seconds and it should take care of it.

On the main screen in the App, we can access the alarm messages, check videos and screenshots, and then you have your profile settings here as well.

And here you can also access your playbacks. If we click on the camera screen, we can turn on or off the sound, record video, speak, take a snapshot, and access the full screen. We can also change the image quality here. If we go into settings, we get “time settings” and here we can change time and time zones.

In “picture and sound” we can reverse the image, and change the volume, video quality, and video format. In record settings, we can change between manual recording, alarm recording, or schedule recording.

We can also format the SD card here. In alarm settings, we have a defense plan, and defense settings, where we can turn motion detection on or off and change the sensitivity. In alarm mode, we can turn off push notifications. This is also where you turn on or off the siren, so let’s turn it on and go back out and test it.

This is a snapshot of daytime.

And this is indoors at nighttime.
