Ezviz OutPro 2K C3TN WiFi Bullet IP Camera Review
So what we got here is a new smart WiFi bullet IP camera from Ezviz that can record in 2304 by 1296 using a 3mp sensor. And I think the image quality was good It is definitely better image quality than their 1080p cameras but to be able to identify a person or read license plates they still need to be quite close to the camera.
At night when using infrared lights the image quality wasn’t the best, with a bit of ghosting when there was movement. But I think when using the two spotlights for full-color night vision it looked good.
So overall I think this is a great camera and the built quality seems to be really good and I’m sure it will last for a long time being placed outdoors.
So the camera uses a 3mp sensor that records in 2304 by 1296 at a maximum of 30fps. And the camera I got uses a 2,8mm wide-angle lens and I’m not sure if they sell them with a different lens. We can set the camera to normal motion detection, which means the camera will trigger by any movement or we can use Human detection, which means the camera will trigger based on the shape of the object.
It will definitely reduce false alarms when using Human detection but when I had it on the highest sensitivity it did trigger cars as well.
The camera works with the Ezviz app and it will send you an instant push notification when motion is detected. You can then view the recordings directly in the app from playbacks saved on the SD card. And if you want you can also use their cloud service. The camera supports up to 256GB MicroSD card. And you can have the camera record 24/7 or only when motion is detected.
It does not support ONVIF but RTSP stream works and I tested it using VLC player.
And for night vision you have 3 different night vision modes to choose from. Normal black and white infrared, full color which means the spotlights are on all night and then we have smart night vision which means the spotlights will turn on when motion is detected and they will stay on for a minute or so if there is no more motion and then go back to black and white infrared.
And I don’t think night vision was that good using infrared.
The camera is IP67 rated which means it is waterproof I tested spraying some water on it and as expected no problem whatsoever. The working temperature is -20 to 50 degrees Celsius or -4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit.
So what we get in the box is the camera, power adapter, quick start guide, weatherproof connector cover, drill template, and a bag with screws.
On the front of the camera, we have the lens, two infrared lights, two white LEDs, indicator light, and here on the side we have the microphone and the speaker. If we open up this cover we get the MicroSD card slot and the reset button.
Connecting to the camera is really quick and easy. You can download the Ezviz app from Google Playstore or app store depending on what device you are using. When you have the app open, tap on the plus icon to add a new device, then cameras, and now scan the QR code on the camera and follow the on-screen instructions. That’s it.
