This is another top-selling WiFi bullet IP camera sold on Aliexpress and that is one of the reasons I decided to pick one up and do a review on it.

The other reason is of course the name Lenovo, which is a well-known brand especially when it comes to high-quality laptops. So if they put their logo on something it must be good right?

When I bought the camera I paid 54 dollars for it including shipping however when I checked the price today it sells for under 45 dollars including shipping which is actually a good price for this camera.

So the camera records in 1080p and has a 3mp sensor. The one I got has a 4mm lens, 6mm and 8mm is available as well.

It has three types of night vision, which is normal infrared night vision, full-color night vision which means the two white LED lights will light up the area and then it has something called smart night vision which means it uses infrared until it detects movement and then it turns automatically on the white LED lights for full-color night vision.

It has dual WiFi antennas but it only supports 2.4ghs. You can also use a wired connection if you want as well by connecting an ethernet cable. The camera supports up to 128 GB sd card.

And by downloading an App to your smartphone you will get instant push notifications when motion is detected.

The app lacks some features but you can access the camera through a web interface which gives you much more settings to choose from. The camera supports ONVIF so you can use it with any NVR or software that supports ONVIF.

It also has 2-way audio so you can listen and talk through the camera. It has an IP67 rating which means it is waterproof and should have no problem being placed outdoors.

In the box, we will find, the camera, power adapter, two wifi antennas, instructions manual and sticker, ethernet cable cover, and bag with screws, anchors, and a hex key.

The whole body as well as the mount is made of metal so it really feels like high quality. To insert the SD card and access the reset button we need to open up this cover.

First, let’s have a look at how to add the camera to the app. It is really easy and straightforward. So download and install the App, Joint Horizon which you will find on either Google Play Store or App Store, and then create a new user account.

When you have the app opened, click on the + icon to add a new device, then click on standalone camera and click yes, the app will list your camera and then all you need to do is add your WiFi.

To access the camera from your web browser you first need to find out what IP address your router has assigned for it. And to do that just log into your router and it should be in the Client list.

Then just type the IP address in the address bar of your web browser and log in. The camera username is admin and it does not have a password. Here we have a bit more settings compared to the app. I will just quickly show you what settings we have here.

Back to the app and here on the main screen we got share, “Info” where you will find your alarm messages which are saved on the SD card. Then you have playback, where you can go back view recorded footage. In settings, you have the basic stuff, like motion detection settings for example.

If we click on advanced settings we can adjust the Image quality, and we can add a privacy zone to do that you just drag the square where you want to add privacy.

Let’s head back out to the main screen, and then click on the camera screen, in here we can set the aspect ratio, change image quality, turn on or off sound, change night vision mode, talk through the camera, take screenshots record video and also watch playbacks.
