REOLINK 4K PTZ Security Cameras System Review with 8 Reolink Trackmix and NVR RLN16-410
If you have some money to spend and want a really nice home surveillance system, I can really recommend this. I’ve reviewed the Tackmix before on my YouTube channel and I was really impressed with that camera.
It basically uses two lenses, one wide-angle 2.8mm lens and one zoomed-in 8mm lens. You should definitely check out my more in-depth video review below. So this security system comes with eight 4k Reolink Trackmix cameras and one NVR RLN16-410 with a built-in 4TB hard drive. This is a 16-channel NVR and can support up to 10 Trackmix PTZ cameras.
Everything is plug and play and since it uses POE you just need one Ethernet cable from the NVR to the camera for both power and data, which is really nice.
You can connect the Reolink APP for remote viewing and get instant push notifications when motion is detected, which you can then view directly in the APP from playbacks.
The cameras support auto tracking and something called Smart Detection which means they can tell the difference between a human and a vehicle based on the shape of the object and I think it worked well when I tested the camera.
They also have built-in spotlights for full-color night vision as well as normal infrared lights for black-and-white night vision.
And since the NVR is 16 channels you can expand and add more cameras if you want in the future.
